What managers and colleagues at Tesla, Accelergen, Savion, Wendel, and National Fuel have said.
Worked closely with Senan at Accelergen. He was a very creative and hard working analyst who helped us streamline and automate several of our prospecting workstreams. He was particularly good at using Python to automate report generation, saving countless hours of work for myself and others. Senan was also able to come up to speed quickly when discussing complex regulatory matters related to generation interconnection across various ISOs and regions. I think Senan would be a great asset for anyone looking for a talented and committed analyst or interconnection engineer.
It was a pleasure working with Senan. He enthusiastically took on assignments and proactively asked questions. While reviewing equipment bids, he highlighted a change in the quantities of equipment which led to a different bidder being the lowest cost option. This attention to detail really set him apart from others. He also consolidated the input and concisely organized the justifications for executive level approval of equipment purchases. He pulled together presentations which included tables, charts, and graphs which supported cross-disciplinary collaboration to progress our design. He was a great addition to our team.
Senan's tenure as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Tesla was excellent. He displayed remarkable speed and consistency in delivering high-quality work, helping us meet critical deadlines. In addition, he was able to swiftly grasp, apply, and teach difficult technical concepts with ease. Beyond this, Senan's attention to detail, problem-solving, and invaluable contributions to important engineering discussions were commendable. He constantly offered creative solutions and added depth to our technical deliberations. Senan's willingness to take on extra responsibilities and his pleasant demeanor made him a standout intern and member of our team.
I am delighted to provide a recommendation for Senan Demel, an exceptional Summer Intern at Savion in 2023. Senan was directly reporting to me, and I can attest that his contributions during the internship were very valuable. One standout achievement was his ability to work across departments to automate a critical process by using Python, a programming language that he learned on the job. This feat not only showcased Senan's ability to learn quickly, but also his fearless approach to tackling challenges head-on. Senan's proactive and leadership skills were on full display when on his own initiative, he hosted a company-wide presentation: "Using AI to Boost Productivity."
I had the pleasure of working with Senan during his time at Wendel as he supported a couple of the projects which I was leading. Senan's excellent attitude and desire to learn was evident from my first meeting with him where he was respectful, excited, and meticulous about helping to finish a rather mundane task. His interest went beyond what he needed to do, but why we were doing it in the first place — a talent usually not acquired till much later in one's career. Senan was quick to pick up technical concepts and brought ideas he had learned about from his studies into the conversation. Senan's demeanor, versatility, and intelligence makes him an asset on any team.
I highly recommend Senan for his exceptional work as an electrical engineering student on a renewable natural gas study for National Fuel. Senan's dedication and expertise in the field of renewable energy were truly impressive throughout our collaboration. I have no doubt that he will continue to excel in his career and make significant contributions to the field of electrical engineering. I highly recommend Senan without hesitation and believe he will be a valuable addition to any team or organization.
